Village of Morrisville Water & Light Department (Morrisville) has submitted its 2023 Integrated Resource Plan (IRP) to the Vermont Public Utility Commission (PUC) for review. The IRP represents Morrisville’s plan for meeting the public's need for energy services safely, reliably and at the lowest present value life cycle cost, including environmental and economic costs. The plan includes an analysis of Morrisville’s energy needs and supply resources; its planned improvements to its electrical system, including vegetation management; environmental impacts; and the costs associated with the plan. Utilities must file IRPs with the PUC and the Public Service Department at least every three years. Morrisville’s IRP can be accessed through our website www.mwlvt.com by clicking on the banner or on the news tab. It is also available for review on the PUC’s electronic filing and case management system, “ePUC,” at https://epuc.vermont.gov/. Search by Case Number 23-4003-PET.
Customers wishing to intervene in this proceeding or request that the PUC hold a public hearing may do so by making a filing in this case in ePUC by January 26, 2024.
