Affordable Community Renewable Energy (ACRE)

The Affordable Renewable Community Energy (ACRE) program is a free community solar program that helps qualifying Vermonters lower their electric bills by $29.55 each month. The program is supported by funding from the Vermont Public Service Department, so there is no cost to apply and no cost to participate. Income-qualifying customers of Morrisville Water & Light can apply through August 31, 2026. Visit vppsa.com/acre to check if you qualify and apply to ACRE or:
